Director, Singapore
James brings over 17 years of expertise in real estate private equity and asset management, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions involving the U.S. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, showcasing his deep understanding of diverse markets and global investment strategies.
A graduate of the University of Sheffield in the UK with a BA in Japanese and Korean Studies, James combines his linguistic and cultural knowledge with extensive industry experience to navigate complex international transactions.
As Managing Director for the South Asia region at a multinational investment group, James specializes in structuring and executing cross-border deals, leveraging his deep expertise to deliver value-driven solutions for stakeholders.

Simon has over 25 years of professional experience across structured finance, private equity, asset management, and wealth management. He has held senior leadership roles at prominent global institutions, where he drove growth, managed complex portfolios, and built high-performing teams. An entrepreneur at heart, Simon has also founded and licensed regulated financial firms, successfully positioning them as credible players in the industry.

A graduate of Nanyang Technological University with an Honours Degree in Accountancy, Simon is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. These rigorous academic and professional foundations have shaped his distinguished career in banking and finance.

Lyn Misdar is the Global Sales and Operations Manager at GRT, driving operational strategy, regulatory compliance, and cross-border execution. She holds LCCI diplomas in Business Administration and Private Secretarial Studies, and an Advanced Specialist Diploma in Fund Management and Fund Administration from Nanyang Polytechnic. As a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), Lyn leads data protection and privacy governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and robust risk management frameworks. In her leadership capacity, she drives global sales and operational initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, enhancing efficiency, strengthening processes, and supporting strategic growth.
Lyn brings over a decade of experience in business support across asset management, real estate, construction, and corporate services. She has extensive exposure to cross-border operations, with working knowledge of regulatory, tax, and title processes across the U.S., Canada, and APAC markets. Her expertise includes fund administration, KYC/AML and regulatory documentation, investor relations coordination, and business continuity initiatives. She has led process transformation efforts, supported senior leadership, and contributed to the execution of complex, multi-market projects. Recognized for her structured execution and attention to detail, Lyn operates effectively in dynamic, regulated environments and contributes to the firm’s focus on governance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
